Book Interior & Web Designer
Owner of Inspired Illustration & Design (DeHaanArts.com), Sara has over 25 years experience as a freelance book designer and marketer. Beginning as a college student setting lead type and creating lithographs for a hand-made book, she has since held publishing positions at The Close Up Foundation, Syracuse University Press, and The University of Wisconsin Press, working in editorial, marketing, and production. Currently she designs book covers and interiors for The University of Wisconsin Press, the Wisconsin Historical Society Press, and independent authors. She also provides a variety of marketing services for authors, such as websites, marketing strategy, advertising, and more.
